Cyber security in Smart Water Conservancy general scheme

Abstract: In recent years, cyber security has been developed rapidly in water industry, which guaranteed the secure running of many important business systems, such as systems of prevention of flood and drought disasters, water resources monitoring platform, etc. However, there are still many issues. The general protection standard is not high enough. Many departments’ secure systems are constructed independently. Network treat perception is not sufficiently capable to identify risks. And the system lacks methods for cloud computing and other new technologies. Based on the facts of water industry, this paper introduces the overall scheme of network security, which includes defense in depth approach, monitoring, warning, emergency response ability construction, secure management and secure operation. The scheme points out the direction of constructing an all-round coordinated active intelligent cyber security system in Smart Water Conservancy Era, which is significant to the water industry.
